A Settlement has been reached with NOW Health Group, Inc. (“NOW”) in a class action lawsuit concerning the targeted cyberattack on the Defendant’s computer systems that occurred on or about March 17, 2023 (the “Data Incident”), in which certain files that contained personally identifiable or protected health information about individuals may have been accessed by an unauthorized party. The types of data varied by individual, but included one or more of the following: name, Social Security number, date of birth, driver’s license or government-issued identification number, financial account information, IRS pin number, medical information, health insurance information, passport information, electronic/digital signature information, and for a small number of individuals, a username with password or full-access credentials.
The lawsuit is captioned Green, et al. v. NOW Health Group, Inc.,Case No. 2023LA000116, pending in the Circuit Court for the Eleventh Judicial Circuit, McLean County, Illinois (the “Action”).
NOW denies each and all of the claims and contentions alleged against it in the Action and denies all charges of wrongdoing or liability alleged (or which could be alleged) in the Action but has agreed to a Settlement to avoid the costs and risks associated with continuing the Action.
You are included in the Settlement Class if you received a Notice Letter from NOW notifying you that your private information was compromised in the Data Incident.
